Title: Howdy from Pittsburgh, PA
Post by: Infliximaab on Thu, 13 March 2014, 13:47:04
Hi all... stumbled upon geekhack while researching the Topre RealForce Keyboards.  My gaming buddy from Japan claims the RealForces are the absolute best for gaming.  However very expensive.  Wanted to see what some of the ultimate keyboard enthusiasts had to say on this matter before I drop a hefty amount of money on one of these keyboards.

I currently own and use a SteelSeries 7G (black) and CM Storm QuickFire Pro (browns) which I both use for gaming and a Razer BlackWidow (blues) for typing/browsing etc...

:thumb: I just love keyboards  :thumb:

I used to game a tiny bit, and I can tell you that topre was the worst switch I felt for gaming. It makes floating impossible. Linears seemed much more responsive, but I preferred browns and even blues to gaming on topre.

But expensive. Your wallet will whine. Well, maybe not if you are a tycoon. Welcome to GH.
