Did the reviewer say it wasn't MX blue, or it wasn't mechanical switches?

The newegg link allows you to select between switches and non-mechanical (which ends up costing more, humorously).

If anything, newegg has a very good return policy - so if it comes and it's not MX blue switches, I'm sure you can return. My concern with this kb would be it's quality etc.

The review was on amazon, and the reviewer said they weren't mechanical, but as you note the purchaser has the choice.
The mouse alone sells for $20+

Note that the non-mechanical and MX versions are sold by different vendors.
