I like how the only reason we can tell what type it is, is that the key is missing.

I have bought a couple of these, and there was always at least 1 key missing. Seems strange, as hard as they are to pull when you actually want to get them off.

It looks like an AT plug. Would that keyboard actually work with a modern PC?

No, it talks the Amiga protocol. The protocol was the same for all external Commodore Amiga keyboards, even though the connector changed between some models.
There are converters (http://deskthority.net/wiki/Amiga#Amiga_keyboards_to_USB) as DIY projects. It needs to be a converter for an external keyboard, or for the A500. The A1200 and A600 used ribbon cables to the motherboard.

The Space Invader keyboards have a few tells. There is supposed to be a rivet in-between the Del and Help keys, but it can't be seen in any of these images...
There are also some tiny differences in the symbols used and the keys don't tend to yellow as easily as on other keyboards. There have been suggestions that the keys in this keyboard would be PBT, but I have not seen that confirmed.
