Title: Can I get PBT caps like these?

Hi all,

I am looking for a PBT keycap set that the person uses in this video:

It is the blank grey/black/red keycaps that you can see pretty much from the beginning of the video. I know I can use WASDkeys to create a custom set but ideally I would like PBT caps.

Any ideas how to get hold of such a set? I am in the UK...

More than likely, you'll have to purchase multiple sets to get those colors. One set of blank blacks and one set of blank grey.

IMSTO has typically been a good source for PBT key caps. Right now it looks like he only has white blanks (http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a1z10.5.w4002-151985269.30.CmZWeO&id=10188303164) in the OEM profile, but I'd suggest you ping him with a PM. He has a forum here (http://geekhack.org/index.php?board=115.0), as well as a Comerical Web Site (http://imsto.cn) and a TaoBao store (http://aikb.taobao.com)

Cherry Profile?
IvanIvanovich just closed on a group buy for PBT Pitch BLACK edition (http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=50935.msg1117903#msg1117903), but those are Cherry profile. That'll be a lower profile that the ones on the CoolerMaster, but I mention it because you'll probably see a set, or two, in the Classifieds when the GB completes.

lol. WFD video. what the hell ever happened to that kid? he was awesome. but ditched us on the GH60 buy and he was supposed to make the plates. he has been AWOL for months now. too bad cause his youtube videos taught me a **** ton about soldering.

whatever you do new dude dont buy a set of caps from WASD. abs garbage. thin as all hell. worst quality caps out there in my opinion but they do allow for some dope customization.

As already mentioned, WASD caps are very thin, and they feel very cheap. They lost the texture in a few weeks, and get very shiny almost since the beginning. Just want to add my experience with them. I bought a couple of space bars from them, but I learned.

I believe that's the "dolch" layout. Side printed. Very hard to find for PBT.

There's some Dolch lookalikes but usually ABS.

GMK ABS is just as good as PBT but originative is MIA at the moment.
