It's not a real TrackPoint, BTW. And it's not even close.

Shipments of the USB model outside the USA are currently suspended awaiting
government approval
I don't know why Unicomp does not get approval from the U.S. government.
You may order a EnduraPro with PS/2Mini-Dib

I see no reason why this should stop you from getting what you want. I (as well as many other US-based geekhack members) would be more than happy to be the middle man for you.

So, what exactly do you want? Just a USB Endurapro? Do you want/need anything else from Unicomp (additional keys, other accessories, etc)?

I guess I forgot to mention that it was the USB-based EnduraPro that is banned.
A huge obstacle for the evil forces out there. :)
When I got my Toshiba T5200 back in the day it had some printing on the box like
This product is a strategic product subject to COCOM regulations. It may not be exported ... etc.
I always thought that was cool.

I use my UK-layout PS/2 Endurapro with a Belkin USB adaptor with no problems. Also means that I get to save USB ports if I use it with a computer that has PS/2 ports. Best of both worlds as far as I see it :)
It's a great keyboard btw. Even though the trackpoint isn't as good as a real IBM one, its really convinient once you get used to it. Not sure how I did without it!

Have got a message back from Jim Owens.
He says that the endurapro is still definately unavailable internationally. No reason as to why, but it doesn't really matter.
When I have the funds, I think I may try to get someone to get one and ship it over for me. Along with a molded cover and a couple of custom key.
I think it had something to do with some international electrical certification for the USB interface on that 'board (or something like that).

could this be the ROHS solder? that stuff is crap.
-
As far as I know, RoHS only applies if you're selling your product in the EU and not when just sending it there.
