Hi guys.
Could you help me search for a fully programmable mechanical keyboard (hardware level). Something like a Rapoo v7.
Post your known programmable keyboards.
I need this because I use colemak and I would prefer not switching layouts via OS.
Thank you.

WASD V2 keyboards have a dip switch that allows colemak at the hardware level

The poker 2 has a fully programmable pn layer. You can also get a custom PCB like the gh60 or one of the sprit ones. There's a open groupbuy here http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=50580.0

Definitely interested in wasd v2, but added programmability would be nice.
Ohh poker 2 has a programmable layer? Is that layer saved in the keyboard itself? Also I would prefer something that is just tenkeyless. A custom would be nice but would require some work and I'm concerned with when the group buys will end.
Thanks for the quick responses :)

Sounds like a Phantom or Ergodox is what you're after if you can get your hands on one.

Yup, the layer is safed on the keyboard itself. You can use every key as a macro key as well, since you can put up to 15 keypresses on one key.

Keep in mind the lower right Fn and Pn keys aren't programmable, and you have to set it back in the function lock mode (by pressing fn+rshift) every time you unplug it or turn your computer off.
That said, I use my poker 2 with dvorak every day.

Hi all,
I went ahead and bought the newly released KBT Race 2. I liked the poker 2 but needed dedicated keys for Function row and arrow keys.
And also because Group Buys are hard to get into xD.
I might consider a custom controller in the future but not for this keyboard. Do continue to post and share more programmable keyboards. :D

Kinesis Advantage is programmable. Not sure if you'd consider it since it's an ergo board.
