Hi all, I just add a conversion at job with a client and during this conversation the client mentioned that he would like to give an electric shock to some clerks when they do a ****ty job. Could be a nice feature if implemented wisely. Of course it would require to identity the one typing, but it would be possible with a software on the computer. Then we would need to implement a way for the computer to send a signal to the keyboard to shock the user!
Anyone has other funky ideas like that?
Non keyboard related, I have dreamed for years of a remote slap module, but that shocking keyboard could do the job :p

Give Microsoft a call; they already have this technology working:

I used to get static shocks from an Apple aluminium keyboard. Only the one I used to use at work though. Both of those I have at home were fine.

A rumble feature.
Maybe have the PCB suspended above the case inside by some sort of wires/springs/cushion, and have some rumble inducing device attached to the PCB. When you get shot/crash/hurt etc, the PCB and keys will rumble, giving feedback to your fingers, but it won't transfer through to your case and therefore desk, making that noise I remember from putting an N64 controller on my hard wood floor as a kid.
You could upgrade the feet to so they are more shock absorbent as an extra precaution.
