So a friend at work told me he had a couple of old keyboards I could have, he was vague on the age but a part of me hoped for some mechanical keys...
Alas they appear to be domes :(
Is there anything to be done with them?
They look fairly old. (a subjective view as I myself am probably younger than them lol)
-
Pictures would go a long way otherwise we have no idea what you have :D
-
Well, what are they?
Even among rubber dome keyboards, some are much better than others.
-
ok sorry, "Old keyboard" is fairly vague :))
I'm at work, So give me ~40 mins till lunch and I'll get some pictures.
-
So, got some pictures, Had to charge my phone so I'm a bit later than I said

Nice caps on HP one. Might be doubleshot. If that true - it might be worth something, especially if they are removable and have compatible with one of mechanical switches mount.
-
Take out one of the keycaps an take a photo of the top and bottom. Then it is easier to tell what type of keycap it is.

I think, pad printed with non-standard mount.
Looks like Topre mount, though. But I think it not the one.

Rubber domed. But pretty nice for a rubber domed. I'd say it worth some bucks cleaned. Not many, but around 20. You can search ebay for past listings.

Oh well, Thanks for the help
Might give it a clean, maybe make it USB for the fun of it.
