Title: Mitchell, your AT Model F is Ready ( $145 BIN Shipped)
Post by: E TwentyNine on Thu, 20 March 2014, 11:24:47
http://www.ebay.com/itm/IBM-Model-F-PC-AT-XT-Mechanical-Clicky-Keyboard-5150-5160-/301129283484

OK BIN price, or $75 opening bid + $20 shipping US.

Doesn't look to be in the cleanest shape but should clean up fine.

That second one claims to be a PC/AT keyboard in the description, but it's an XT.

What's up with using sharpie on a keyboard, anyway? Sheesh. Would that really clean off "easily?" What would you use, alcohol?

Wouldn't that be incriminating? :)

Yes, I have been on the look out for an F that could be an everyday board. The 122s that go cheaper would drive me nuts.

I used a Sperry keyboard with the same layout in the late 80s and liked it. Sperry copied the IBM layout, but used rubber domes.

Someone on IRC said that AT's usually go for under $80, so I felt bad when I got one with box for $75.

Have IBM AT model F keyboards gone up in price?
