So here is my issue... My G80 is connected to a Perixx PS2 to usb and everything works great when typing.
Now when playing a game, after holding W for a few seconds it cuts out... If the hit space to jump, I start moving again but only for a few seconds...
Pulled case off and all connections look great.
HALP!!!

Might be worth trying a different converter — sounds like a converter fault.

Agreed, Try another converter. Cannot see why it should by an keyboard failure.
-
Try it with a PS/2 motherboard first - just to be sure.

Good idea, if he has one.

Thanks dudes! Gonna try out a new converter! Both my rigs are missing PS2 ports (z87 sabertooth and P8Z77 I deluxe)
You're killing me Asus!!!

I would highly recommend the idinnovations ps/2 to usb (http://www.idinnovations.com/usb%20adaptors.html). I got a couple when there was a groupbuy on here for them. I find them to be the best and don't suffer from frequent reset problem like many others.

Asrock z68 and i5 Sandy Bridge. With native PS/2 port. I'm OK for time being :)

I see. The solution is to buy an asus rampage 4 black edition to test native ps/2. or maybe not.
