I'm a mac os x user and bought a TECK. In mac os x , when using windows 8 on a parallels vm you need to press Fn-Ctrl-C in other to emulate Win-C (the command key is reserved by mac os x so the guest cannot see it).
So I was trying to reprogram my TECK and assign the mac fn (which is not the same as the T_FN) to one of my keys but I cannot find that key among the presets in the TECK layout editor. But the TECK layout editor allows to assign any USB usage id from usb usage page 0x07 or usage page 0x0c.
So does anybody know what is the usage page and id of the mac fn key, or the mac fn key + ctrl if the mac fn key doesn't generate a kaypress of it's own.
Any help of how to obtain the usage page /id of that key combination would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry I meant to say Fn + Cmd not Fn + Ctrl

Perhaps you can look at https://pqrs.org/macosx/keyremap4macbook/ ?

fn doesn't have a keycode, as it doesn't actually send any data to the computer itself.

I know nothing about the TECK or its editor, and concur that on most external KBs, FN does not send a scancode. That said, the internal KB on my Macbook Pro does send a scancode. Not clear if this guy is asking about the internal Mac FN or the one on the TECK keyboard thought.

I'm asking about that AppleKeyboard, what key code(s) are sent when pressing Fn+Ctrl on an Apple Keyboard?
