Title: In search of...
Post by: Blackehart on Wed, 26 March 2014, 13:56:35
Since I cant post to classifieds and don't want to spam replies to build my post count up, I was wondering if you could help...

I am looking for a keyboard to hit all the right spots.

Main two things I'm looking for are that the switches be MX Clears and that it be either Full White or Full Blue LED.

Would love for it to be a TKL but would "settle" for 60%.

....and the clincher: would like to find a "drop-in" aluminum case for it as I don't know how to solder and don't want to try it out on $300 worth of hardware.

Is there such a beauty that isn't a "build your own"?

Thanks in advance,

-Blacke

The Code Keyboard (http://codekeyboards.com/) meets almost all of your requirements, except for the last one. TKL, MX Clears, full white backlighting. They'll be restocking the MX Clear version sometime in April.

There's a chance that it would fit into one of these cases (http://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=212), but don't quote me on that.

Read somewhere that there is a 12-14 month wait for the clears to restock.

...aaaaand I already have a Code full size ><

Well, I just told you that there is a one month wait for the clears to restock, so you're in luck :)

Could buy the Code and then the Clears from MK.com. Then get someone to swap it for you at have a Code with Clears right now?
