Title: Hello Everyone, my name is Defect (at least online it is)

Hello everyone.  Long time lurker, signed up not too long ago.  Already chatted with a few members and you all seem like very nice people :)

My keyboard history is: Noppoo Choc Mini (MX Blues), Ducky Shine II (MX Clears), KeyCool84 (MX Reds), Unicomp Ultra Classic (Buckling Spring), and just a few minutes ago I ordered 2 cheap boards and a donor board with some additional switches to get back into soldering and then modding.  Been thinking about a Topre, but I don't know that I'm convinced I'd like it.  Hard to judge from peoples opinions in text format.

I have bought a few keycap sets but never got into single unique keys (trying to keep myself from that temptation...)

It feels nice to be in a place where I'm not the only crazy person who has an obsession with keyboards.  I don't mind the drama either, as I see it as a result of passion.

If you have the money, I would definitely try to pick up a Topre. I was really glad I got one, it's a dream for typing papers on!

Don't go into the unique caps. When I first started in this hobby, I thought people must be nuts to spend $100 on a clack. Or they must be rich. But yesterday, I finally bought a Hack Orange Clack for $130 including shipping. I think I've gone insane. Stay away!
