Mine seems to have extra holes, not sure what for.

you really have been dissembling lots of keyboards, SpamRay. Am surprised your wallet isn't hurting yet!
Thanks a ton guys! Looks like it has some holes, but not the dedicated holes for the LEDs to be wired into the board. A true shame, a backlit white version would be awesome!
They usually cover the plastic drop location with a large sticker, you will get better at finding it.
The worst part of this one is I messed up the stickers looking for screws which are not there.

I mean my keycool84 has no screws at all....so I messed the stickers up for nothing! :D

Update:
Opened up my new KC84, same as before. No holes for LEDs
With the old version (Green box) and the new version (brown box) both PCBs are the same.
Also, don't know why, but my PCBs seem a lighter shade of red than spamray's
nother thing to note, my switches are soldered the right way, while spamray's pcb is designed to have the switches upsidedown (a trend that a lot of led boards are doing)
But it looks like spamray's pcb will allow LEDs no problem. Just need to SMD solder resistors (pads are already there)
ANOTHER thing: my keycool logo is made in traces while spamray's is silkscreened
I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter where it came from since banggood is a dropshipper anyway :DUpdate:
