Title: Any else CS:GO? Looking for feedback
Post by: pixel5 on Mon, 31 March 2014, 10:22:06: If anyone can tear something up in a review, its you guys (of course I say this with love). Not whoring for votes here, i'm just looking for some honest feedback on a couple skins I've created. This is my first experience with the steam workshop.

The second is the state flag of Texas...you being from not-the-USA I can imagine it might look silly. I don't really expect it to get a lot of likes as most CS:GO players are not from Texas.

I tried to do a bit of my own work, sadly I'm about as creative as a potato, so it didn't go well. Do you have any guides you used or stuff like that? Cheers!

There are guides out there for how to handle the files, but you have to know how to use an editor of your choice and have the idea. Also, I believe if someone's skin makes it into the game they get one untradeable special version of it.

EDIT: I'm not going to request that anyone share the skin, but if you find it worthy of doing so I would certainly appreciate it. I wasn't serious about this at first but with it getting so much positive attention I'd like to see how far it can go.

The firs one looked nice, but this one looks way better in my opinion. Love it! ;D

Not sure about the surprised part, not like i'm anyone famous. I just act like a doofus and sometimes things work out. I've been around geekhack forever... I think this is my second account here, I forgot my other one from way back. I like to get my taka taka on, I just don't post often.

I won't continue bumping this thread, but i'm going to continue to make more skins. It's something fun to do when I'm bored and who knows, maybe one of them will have a shot some day.
