Hi all, I'm a newbie from Spain, I've just acquired my first mechanical keyboard, is a Cherry G80-1000 HAE/13 in pristine condition, that has been long abandoned on top of a vintage server in my company. Probably the keyboard has less than 20 hours of use in total, the doubleshots are like new, not yellow, not bright, neither dirty.. So seems like I won the lottery except for something really bothering :( is missing the '6' key from the numbers row, not the one in the numeric keypad.
My first thought of the keyboard was to convert it to steampunk, with vintage typewriter keys, but on a second though I think that it would ruin a very special keyboard, and I can always create a steampunki version of any modern keyboard.
I've just cleaned it, and ordered some AT adpators to PS/2 and an active PS/2 to USB.
Not sure if I'll end using it or not, in the mean time I'll try to locate the missing key, I don't want to replace it with a modern key, I'm most interested in finding an original doubleshot to match the rest of the keys. Probably if not against the forum rules I'll open later a WTB post about it.
By the way, my name is Fernando and I'm very pleased to be here, I'll upload some pics latter from my home, as right now I'm in the coffee break at work.

Hola Fernando! I'm a new member too, but not as lucky as you with your new keyboard. Post some pictures of it! One missing key should be easy to replace.
Saludos desde Argentina.

Here are a few pics of my kb, I've only dusted the board, I've not cleaned the keys or the housing yet... and here you can also see the missing keycap :(
