Post by: Zombly on Thu, 03 April 2014, 08:03:25
Been looking for this for a little while and just having no luck.

Reference - http://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=196

Everywhere seems to be out of stock, I also live in Canada prefer local but willing to pay extra in shipping if necessary.

Thanks!

The Shine II's are out of production, so unless you find one on E-bay or someone willing to sell you theirs you will have trouble finding one.  The Shine 3 switched the Purple LED's for Magenta in the current series (TKL or Full-size)

The board above from NCIXUS is rather misleading as it is most likely the Magenta model branded as Purple (close enough for jazz I guess)

MechanicalKeyboards.com has a page where you can view their Incoming Stock, says they should be in late April early May.  You can view that page here http://mechanicalkeyboards.com/incoming.php

Also don't be surprised if that date gets pushed back.  Ducky always seems to take forever in getting them over here.

Thank you, may just keep looking at other boards, I'm a little picky as I think everyone who uses this forum is for the exact specs I want, everytime I find a board I like there's always something wrong with it, that switch type out of stock etc, I may just buy a quickfire TK, and get someone to mod it with clear switches.

Be sure to read up on the issues that some people have had with the TK. I would think one purchased now would have newer firmware but it's still worth knowing the previous issues.

I agree, keyboard hunting is exciting but sometimes aggravating, I can't seem to find the TK i was hoping for all they seem to have is red switches, with red leds locally, I'm not a big fan of red on my pcs, unless it's the red spectacles on gas mas keycaps.

Maybe I'll just wait for the lightsaver v2.., just want it now, tired of using my rubber dome logitech.
