Title: Replacement FC660C feet / aftermarket rubber pads
Post by: intelli78 on Sat, 05 April 2014, 14:22:11
One of the rubber feet on my FC660C popped off and is lost. Is there a source of original replacement parts? I have emailed EK, waiting for a response.

if not, has anybody found a good self-adhesive rubber pad product that can be used to upgrade/replace KB feet? I have several keyboards, in fact, that could use an upgrade, but it has been surprisingly hard to find a plain square, flat, self-adhesive pad. Most of the options I've found, like self-adhesive rubber feet, are too thick.

I have been using these (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0094FYSC8/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) on the bottom of my JD40 and HHKB for a fair while now, and they've worked great. I imagine there's a chance of them falling off eventually, but so many come in a pack that I can easily replace them.

Thanks for the reply. Those are reasonable but not so bueno in conjunction with my line of carrying cases.

I ordered some flat adhesive rubber pads from a site called AllElectronics. They look promising for a lower profile solution.  Will update when I try them.
