I recently paid $425 and fees + shipping for mine but a few that went before I got one were higher than that. This web site (kbd4u.co.kr) (http://kbd4u.co.kr/product/detail.html?product_no=12) appears to my non-Korean-reading eyes to still have some housings for sale if we found someone in S. Korea to purchase them and ship to us but we'd still have to source the Wang 724/5 to get keycaps and stabilizers.

He attempted to call them, however, there was no answer due to it being Saturday. I'll be sure to update you guys if I get any more news.

I got a reply from them yesterday by email. they only said they don't ship overseas. They didn't say the Kingsaver was also out of stock. So maybe they've still got them. I'll email again as well.

yes, it is the Originative set + the PBT spacebar. It will cost you anywhere from $30-60 + to get a MX11800 to pull the spacebar from. yes, you can recover some of that by desoldering the switches and selling them, but it's hours of work. Much easier to buy this. The condition of the set is indistinguishable from new; also, there's no uncertainty as w/ Originative. I think it's a fair price.
edit: also, the originative set doesn't come with a space bar AT ALL (not even ABS), so keep that in mind as well.

Nope, they're solid black PBT. I don't think there are too many sets out there. I believe it was an official Vortex/KBC product but was only short for a short while when the P-X first came out. They are very nice, however :)

Bump. Does anyone have an original printed FC660C like new in the box?I have a printed FC660C. I purchased it from a local who got it when it came out on elitekeyboards. Aside from a slightly faded "E" key, it had very minimal use when I got it. I replaced all the keys with Realforce keycaps and taped the bottom row's mods to prevent fading. I use the keyboard often, but clean it after every use. I'm probably going to sell it once I get my hands on a dyesub FC660C. However, I'm not so sure if that will be the case. I switch between my FC660C and Realforce 104UB-DK often because I can never decide which 45g feeling I like better.

I like the idea of a tablet in the abstract, but in practical use, I always end up reaching for my phone or laptop. The SP3 is an amazing piece of hardware, but it's just not for me (or any other tablet, for that matter).

I think I should mention here that it is my belief that the original TA Dario 286 keyboard colors were actually the colors you see on TA typewriters like in foxtrott's photo. The darker blue is actually very similar to Olivetti blue which also explains why the blue accent on the 286 case makes it look like an Olivetti case. For some reason, the colors on the 286 doubleshots aged to a beautiful teal while the colors on the case and dyesub typewriter keycaps did not. If you can't find one you should start a buy next year for a GMK TA-Replica set that uses a White Color on their N5 Blue for the mods and their V4 blue on Grey for the alphas. I would be in for sure! (And so would many others I think.) Now it wouldn't start off looking like the TA caps we all know and love, but if you could artificially age those caps somehow, I think you would end up with caps that look like the ones you see on the vintage TA 286 boards. Find an old Olivetti G80/1 case, and then you have your TA 286 board. Believe me, I thought this through lol. Aging feng's set would likely not produce the same result. They are different switches.
The AEK is 10x less common than the AEK2, in my opinion, especially in top condition, and has the preferable switches.
Also, remember that you need an ADB converter unless you are using a vintage Apple system.
It's all subjective but I like the oranges more too. They have a really lovely sound and feel less mushy than the dampened cream switches.
Whoever takes the AEK I can also have an iMate and ADB cable for $15 extra, which is about half the eBay price.
Why is the HHKB just sitting there? $150 and it doesn't look very yellowed.

i love my Filco SA doubleshots, and as an FYI they arent quite black black / white, but like a super dark brown with cream legends. They are also not a full SA profile but are instead a mostly R3 set with the numrow and f-row as R2. If you dont get them retrochick i might have to get a second set.
