Title: mouse as value input
Post by: Melvang on Fri, 11 April 2014, 00:28:02
So there I was thinking to myself and said "Self, why don't you just use the buttons on the side of your Naga for number input in SolidWorks?"

And it hit me.  Why the hell not?  I mean you already have your hand on the mouse with 12 buttons right there under your thumb.  Just map them to 0-9, ., and Enter.  The back and forward buttons could then be mapped to backspace and tab.

Anyone else tried this?

Be right back making a new profile on my Naga.

I don't think I'd be able to use my Naga for this, although I could see it working with the G600 and Naga2014 because you can actually navigate those fairly easily and reliably.
