Hello from Australia!
Just getting into this mech kb thing, and suddenly theres so much fun to be had!
It all started with the search for more yellow, and with the new ducky shine 3 FULL YELLOW keyboard, it was a must have. But I needed to decide what switches to get, so then came the research, bringing me to geek hack. Realising the depth and the customisability of keyboards with custom keycaps, and then the existence of 60% mech keyboards, I was hooked.
As an OSX user, very happy with the apple bluetooth aluminium compact keyboard, I looked hard for the same keyboard in USB format for my gaming needs. Its one of the best feeling scissor key low profile keyboards around, but nothing like a mechanical which arrived not too long ago. Both still have their place, with the ultra compact flat keyboard packing well into my mITX gaming computer setup, but the mechanical is certainly a way for money to be spent, and a way to express myself with custom keycaps.
Looking forward to playing with a pure, and maybe in future, a GH60 or sprit board.

Welcome to GH. There are a few threads around on scissor switches. When I am far from office or home, I use and old X61 think pad just for the pleasure of a good scissor's keyboard.

I'm sure rowdy would be proud.

Getting my yellow boards! The pure arrived this week :)
Not many other sets that I am aware of that have as much yellow. Next closest current key set would be a toxic or a GH60 Nostalgia set.
Unfortunately, the bumblebee number pad key set just went out of stock. Was hoping to setup a bumblebee numberpad next. :(

;D Looks awesome. Thats an impressive F stop on your lens! What did you use for that shot.
Even the watch and phone are yellow/gold...
Sunnies, iPad case, keyboard carry bag (beanie), keys, bedroom walls, socks… more... :)
That watch took A lot of effort to find. Its not just yellow, but contains radioactive tritium gas vials for that extra bit of cool. (not the same as the radioactive paint)

Used an old Olympus Pen-F 38mm f/1.8! The trick is to focus as closely as possible for the smallest DoF.

Upon request! (although I think I've already posted this pictures before oops)

This was taken on a G12, F2.8.
The fastest lens I have is a F2.0 on a pocket camera! Canon S100.
