Clean your keyboards.  How does it get like this?  You know you touch this with your FINGERS? right? The body part that you use to put FOOD in your MOUTH?

Seriously.  Anyone else beat this dirrrrty pic?

We are required to use apple keyboards (for testing apple computers) sometimes at work: I think ours is actually dirtier! I'll take a picture tomorrow at work if I remember.

The place I work is (among other things) an Apple Authorized Service Provider, or AASP.

I've seen worst but I am a bit surprised on why people would leave their keyboard to the point like that.

You should see the keyboard I inherited from a co-worker who moved desks. It was far worse than that one. It also had the left over bread crumbs in it from about 6 months ago.

I do what I always do with these things. Unplug them from the computer and get the antic spray on a piece of damp cloth or kitchen towel and start scrubbing the mess away. Sometimes, if I'm feeling like it needs a good scrub, I remove some of the keys from their places with the help of a paperclip and blow under the board.

When a new guy started on the desk next to mine we all joked that if he shook the keyboard on his (inherited) PC enough dried up pot noodle would fall out to make one up by adding water, last person at that desk did like to eat and work at the same time.

guess not.  I've sold a few on eBay and my keyboards are immaculate! :)

You slide it in sideways and it somehow falls underneath a keycap ._.

The apple keyboards in my school have somehow turned from white to brown. Creeps me out every time I have to visit the lab.

Oh DAMN.  All you have to do is drop some seeds in there and watch them grow  :thumb: .

This is the FIRST MX keyboard looking worse than a 30 year old IBM keyboard, but how could that be? 

My only guess was that the original owner decided to have his favourite keyboard buried with him when he died, so you decided to dig up his coffin and found this payload still gripped between his rotting fingers.  Did you happen to mention which graveyard you got this item from?
