Title: Anyone know what this is?
Post by: platypus on Tue, 15 April 2014, 23:20:22: Hey guys, I know i don't post much here, i lurk a ton, wasn't sure where to post this, and it seems kinda weird, but its really piqued by curiousity and i want to know what it's all about.

So dubsgalore, epzy, tinlong, maybe a few others have this avatar:

Anyone know what it is? looks like it might be a weird prototype clack? i know some clacks are going up for sale soon.

Look at this progression!

m'man Hipsterpunks got punked this week. At first I was working alone and felt like surprising KBK with a simple gift package. I figured that would be too small so I went around and asked if anyone else wanted to congrats him.

The response was great, a bunch of people who love rustling jimmies and love KBK's improvement wanted to get together and congratulate him!

So this happened...

1) The cap was made,

3) The wheels started to turn.... and the gif was born. (http://i.imgur.com/AIo7aJA.gif)

Really the "wheels are set in motion" was actually just some stupid cloak and dagger way of saying his care-package was put on a postal truck.

Hipster made the best of it and created a sandwich face gif, (http://i.imgur.com/Btm8Mph.gif)

Instead of that twarting our jimmy rustling the guys pulled together and decided even if the sandwich dropped on the floor there was a 5 second rule in effect and "the sandwich is still good."
This signified everyone was still united in the punk, but also in making sure Hipster was well aware of just how far he's come by how far we were willing to go.

0.o the jimmies were definitely in full rustle this whole week! Friends were mysteriously responding with only "the wheels are in motion" and i was getting bummed out by not knowing what the hell was exactly going on. I had actually skyped Binge and had a two hour converstation regarding this situation and cant believe he held it in the entire time ;).

I appreciate everything the community has done for me and most importantly the support and acceptance of my work. You guys rock

i am humbled by the whole situation, its an honor to have the ability to display my interpretation of art and have an out pour of support. It is a warming experience and i feel truly gracious for becoming welcomed into this community with open arms.

thanks again for the awesome Binge Master Cap, and InLikeFynns and SmallFry's custom "friends and family" cap! As well as the other novelty caps that came in the mail today :D... Hell yeah!

Well atleast i can start trust people again,

i now know how Micheal Douglas felt at the end of "The Game" haha

Friends were mysteriously responding with only "the wheels are in motion" and i was getting bummed out by not knowing what the hell was exactly going on. I had actually skyped Binge and had a two hour converstation regarding this situation and cant believe he held it in the entire time ;).

I appreciate everything the community has done for me and most importantly the support and acceptance of my work. You guys rock

It was a joke and now it is over but pretty much binge made a 1 of 1 keycap just for Hipsterpunks a fellow cap crafter to show his appreciation for his skills as well as improvement! :)
