Mechanicalkeyboards.com. when i was lubing mine, i had to wipe a little bit of oil off of them. Id say go with whatever lube you want rather than rely on whats in them

Well yeah that's why I posted in this forum

I just didn't really notice the oil at first and have kinda just been ignoring it using my own mix. I was just wondering since when do clears come factory lubed cuz I don't recall this happening before

How are they lubed?  I followed a lubing guide for my own ergo clears and they came out awful.  I need to find out how the pros do it

Well I mean I do my own lubing on sliders and contact points. They come stock lightly oiled where the little legs are on the stem that touches the gold contacts. As of now I'm just going over those areas with a little bit more + the side sliders, and the under area where the spring touches the stem.

They are purchased from and shipped from Cherry. We ship them from here to the customer.

AFAIK all Cherry switches come pre-lubed on the legs that push the contact spring.

Just a little tiny bit on the contact points.

Didn't we determine with the macro photos that were done that all switches have a small amount of factory lube on the contact points?
