I need a keyboard to send a
ctrl ctrl 3 enter
or
scrolllock scrolllock 3 enter
signal sequence into a usb kvm with one button press. I can't use my main keyboard to do this is it is incompatable with the kvm, logitech g15 needs power and doesn't like kvms.
I have read through this forum. I can't find if sequences such as scroll lock scroll lock can be stored in keyboards. Can all programmable keyboards handle that? Any suggestions of the cheapest that would work? I live in the UK.
Thanks for any help :)

Have you tried just using a separate key mapping software? You may want to take a look at ATNSoft Key Manager (http://www.atnsoft.com/keymanager/) or AutoHotkey (http://www.autohotkey.com/), if you haven't already.

@webwit
The datahand looks too expensive for me I am afraid. But thanks for the tip it gives me hope :)
@FKSSR
I use autohot key to send my keyboard signals all over the place, I multibox on WoW.
I can't see how a software solution can do this, the KVM is dumb, it only detects the hard signal at the keyboard designated usb port.
No use the computer converting the a hard signal at a software level, its too late by then, it's already passed through the kvm.
Unless I could get the computer to pretend it is a keyboard plug it into the input of the KVM and send a signal out over the usb. But I haven't a clue how to make a computer send a keystroke out through a usb port. Autohot keys uses the network to pass out the keyboard commands.
As far as I can see I think I need a hardware solution

What about one of the gaming keyboards with onboard memory like the Razer Tarrantula?

get a belkin nostromo. You can usually find a standard n52 cheap off ebay. N52te's are the bomb if you can afford them. But yeah, autohotkey would probably work too.
