Title: Modding a QFR Case for a Phantom PCB
Post by: metal1091 on Mon, 21 April 2014, 16:42:08
Has anyone modded a CM QFR case for use with a Phantom PCB? I'm buying one off reddit for extremely cheap and was woundering if anyone could give some advice or point me in the right direction for a tutorial or just some tips in general

Thanks!

I've modded a Filco to fit in a QFR case. Being that the Phantom was designed to fit directly in a Filco case, I'm going to assume the modifications for the two are exactly the same. All it requires is some sanding of a couple of the standoffs. Lining them up, you can see which two need to be sanded. I believe it's one each on the top and bottom portion of the case. If you can't figure it out, I can find out exactly which two for you.
