I think unless you have suffered some kind of horrible accident, or have a birth defect or something like that (physical medical condition) I think plastic surgery is ****ed up.
Like great case in point is female Olympic gold medalist (or something) swimmer Rebecca Adlington. She's won two gold medals at the Olympics, two! Yet was so insecure about her nose that she got a comedian fired over a joke about it and then got it surgically altered. I think it's the saddest thing in the world and isn't the way to deal with that as if it's not your nose it will be something else... and like in Korea where it's taken to extreme ****ed up levels you end up with people trying to all look like the same hideous manufactured 'perfect look'... instead of just learning to be happy with your self and happy in your own skin.
I think people who are considering plastic surgery for cosmetic reasons should have to take therapy first.

In some cases it can vastly improve one's life quality. Personally I gained a ton of weight as a teenager due to medical negligence. Years later I was able to lose 189lbs but was left with a lot of extra... skin shall we say. I was able to get surgery covered, and since then my emotional state and confidence has increased dramatically (even if I have put a little of the weight back on over the past decade :P )

makeup and styling do a lot of this without any surgery, just saying.

Don't worry Spam, we know you like to look good for your lady :p
i like korean girls. if you don't, you are wrong.
Reminds me of this little episode in China...
I had no idea, very interesting.Reminds me of this little episode in China...
This was a setup put together by the cosmetic surgery company to generate sales...
They used a little drama to draw people in.. but ultimately when (less than beautiful) girls see the result, they're all thinking... ****... why not me.... and then every female who may just need a slight modification thinks, well, I don't need that much done, so if that clinic is so good, i might as well get it done there.
Courts are not the same as they are in the USA, court overseas are basically paid services to protect private interests , and enforcing a double standard between the rich and poor.

Some of those pics in the link in the OP are creepy. Thats just wrong. Whats the deal with the "anime eyes" look. Very odd imo.
That's such an odd concept. I used to know a black girl who got her skin lightened every couple months. People are weird, although I can't really talk. Some friends got me a coupon for a free anus bleaching years ago as a joke, not thinking I'd use it. Well the joke was on them when I had the prettiest butthole at the ball ;)

Did you have a ball?

It's meant to look "western" like an American girl
or something like that.
I had the prettiest butthole at the ball ;)ah, so that's what you call a "beauty contest" in 'murica.
Personally I am happy with how my face looks and wouldn't change anything. I won't lie though, some of those photos were a big improvement. Like others have said I don't think every girl should rush of to get surgery and try to look like the same model.
The beauty contest is a good example of that. They all end up looking extremely similar and have nothing that sets them apart (besides there hair). I'm not a big fan of the extremely pale looking faces with tons of makeup. Having some skin tone is good :)

This is not a good argument ..
Most sports cars have the same shape / proportions...
---Beautiful women also adhere to a general set of rules.
Larger wheel sizes vs body (breast implant)
Spoilers (dolled up hair)
Low to the ground (low body fat)
height relative to width is much greater (waist hip ratio)
Cars are manufactured beauty by humans in a workshop
Korean Dolls are manufactured beauty by humans in a hospital
People are made in human mothers
The Materials from which we build cars are mined from mother earth...
What's the difference... There is none...
Given limited conscious capacity, humans arbitrarily draw lines in the sand only to be reminded by the incessant tides that the world beneath us is in constant motion.Show Image(http://umi-no-hoshi.u.m.pic.centerblog.net/fac818de.jpg)

I am considering getting a surgical scar on my torso checked out to see if it could be improved with some minor plastic surgery. It is a bit ugly now, there having been an infection in it after the first surgery. As it is now, I don't want to show my bare chest in public.
I saw this a lot in Korean news papers, because it is highly debated as to whether it should be aloud as it apparently deceives people, or some crap like that, if people want to spend insane amounts of money on things that essentially don't matter then that's cool we pay footballers after all
