Thoughts? I was thinking of picking up the YK2100 just to see what Topre is all about. I "need" a new gaming keyboard as my standard typing keyboard (model m) is obviously terrible for that purpose. I could also use a new keyboard at work where I would mostly be doing excel work.

I would be wary of going with the YK2100 as a first Topre keyboard unless you're into the high-profile keycaps. Some models with regular keycaps and uniform weighting are on sale at EK http://elitekeyboards.com/products.php?sub=topre_keyboards,rftenkeyless And if you can wait CM's Novatouch will be cheaper than both the options you listed.
