My HHKB Pro 2 is set to the standard HHK mode on the toggle array and is not seen by my laptop's BIOS. It works fine once the OS has booted. My other keyboards that I use regularly don't have this problem (SSK and Leopold FC200RT.) These other 2 keyboards that work fine are connected through the same USB port. Is there something with the toggle array that I don't have set right? Thanks for the help.

Mine works in bios without intervention.
Are you saying you can at least access BIOS and then there is no detection?
Try unplugging hhkb and plug it back in. Also do you have the latest BIOS revision for your mobo?

The BIOS does not see the keyboard (as a keyboard at least.) Therefore, the keyboard does not function (until the OS loads.) My other USB keyboards work fine with the BIOS. I don't think it's a BIOS settings issue. It's set to allow USB devices at boot and it's up-to-date. It seems like it may either be a firmware issue or either the BIOS does not recognize it as an HID, but maybe a USB hub. I'll have to test that theory out.

Strange, I toggled the backspace switch off and on and it works now.
Thanks for the help, osi.
