if you watch the second vid about why they made this, heck, makes sense, basically there are no classical music videos and these guys want classical music to thrive, so they choreo'd something with waveya(the korean dance group in the video) and now kiddies can search for it on youtube.
i mean you search "classical music" in youtube and you get what the documentary vid said, a video of static images and the music
lots of movies and tv shows use this dvorak guy, **** as a GH'r i'm sure you'd all recognize Dvorak as the ergo keyboard layout instead.
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0006053/
i don't know classical music off the top of my head, i mean if i hear it in the ****ing elevator, sure i guess
i mean i could name almost all of nobuo uematsu's music instead, i even had 2 nobuo songs in my wedding reception as opposed to classical ****.
also how do you define the conan the barbarian ost? a symphony? are these symphonies?
yea thats what i'm talking about, the 5minute mark is where "riders of doom" starts, thats when they raid conan's village when he was a kid.

I think people have very different definition of "hardcore"...
so... what to-you makes that video hardcore..?

Musically illiterate generations..

Classical music is irrelevant and overrated.
-
I don't dislike anything. I don't listen to metal or anything in the rock vein often, however. Nothing "sucks" it just depends on whop you talk to.
Personally, I like DnB the most. Especially jungle.

I have a few, but lately it's been Origin Unknown - Valley of the Shadows (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9uY1jQkWwYE). While not exactly jungle I'm also extremely partial towards DJ Fresh - Gold Dust (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RNuUgbUzM8U), which is a staple in all of my DnB playlists. A few others include Commix - Be True (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oE8zvPKEmO0&feature=kp), Wilkinson - Afterglow (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9QGpHScGug&feature=kp), and Pendulum - Hold your Color (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qtD1IpH5a5Q) (the whole album, really).
Oh yeah, and I'm a huge Camo & Krooked fan.
EDIT: Fixed a link

I noticed a lot of the today's pop music artist struggle to come up with new stuff. Many of them pay royalties and just redo an old song.
-
What kills me is listening to a song with about 5-6 words in it - repeating for several minutes - and later finding out that more than one person was responsible for writing the song.

This. Which for the most part includes a lot of pop, rap, r&b, and a lot of new stuff in general. Though for the most part I hear the least amount of repeating lyrics in country (listen to this the least, wifes fav) and rock. Though it is getting much more prevalent in rock.
The other thing I can't stand in "music" is when there is not one discernible instrument in the entire song. Or you can't even pick out one or two actual instruments because it is all digital. I will take a repeating lyrics song with a lead guitar, rhythm guitar, bass, and drums over any digital crap (Tron Legacy soundtrack being an exception). While I never got into that genre of music I love Daft Punk's work on that soundtrack. But I think a lot of that has do with the fact that it sounds like song with notes instead of just a couple different beats in the same pattern.
My prefered bands/artists
Metallica (self titled album and earlier with a couple song exceptions from S&M)
Rammstein
Halestorm
Green Day (first bought and paid for CD was Dookie)
Nirvana
STP
Avenged Sevenfold
Five Finger Death Punch
Apocalyptica is nothing short of some of the most talented artists I have heard in many years. If you have not heard any of their purely instrumental work you need to check it out. Their first album was from '96 and was all Metallica covers while playing nothing but 4 cellos.
