Title: WYSE bottom row replacement keycaps
Post by: Ordloh on Wed, 30 April 2014, 21:29:03
I recently picked up a WYSE PCE 900866 and I really like the smooth vintage blacks. However the keycaps are in really bad shape, shiny and sticky, almost pasty, and some of them have pretty nasty scratches. I want to replace the keycaps, any idea where I can pick up replacements for the 2.5x ctrl? I've checked SP and they don't seem to have any 2.5 keycaps in stock.
alternatively, should I try sandpapering these keycaps?

Have you tried cleaning the key caps with denture tablets?

Not yet, thanks for the suggestion. I'll try that this weekend. But i still need to deal with the scratches. (http://i.imgur.com/0zLDsxY.png)

Someone might have some similar keycaps in their Crap Bag, maybe.
