I'm just curious is all really.
How do you manage to stick with one Keyboard, like for me I have two main drivers. The Noppoo Choc Mini /w Reds and the Razer Blackwidow Tournament Edition Stealth /w Oranges.
For the longest term (about 1.5 years) I was using the Noppoo but since I bought the Razer, I have done nothing but use it and I think this is due to the fact that I've spent money on the keyboard and I want to get a good amount of use out of it! (otherwise it would be a waste of money) and besides, oranges are absolutely fantastic to type on, a piece of heaven imo.
So my question is this.
If you have more than one keyboard, more than one keyboard that you enjoy typing on, how do you stick to one keyboard and not differentiate from that board all the time and how do you decide on your main driver?

I think a lot of Topre and HHKB specifically users are more likely to stick with 1 board, for some reason or another.
Personally, I use a different board every week.

Use one for your left hand and the other for your right....
I use one board at work, the other at home... although when my 3rd board is back in action (it's waiting for new switches) I don't know what I'll do.... Probably use whichever I feel like for that particular day. Options are good. ;D
Don't limit yourself unless one particular board really satnds out as "The ONE"

The only reason I use one keyboard is because I sold all my other keyboards. It came to the point where I would use my RF for almost the entire time, and use my ergo clear board for 30 minutes to an hour occasionally and that was it. It just depends on which switch you love above all else, if applicable.

There is nothing wrong with switching between multiple boards. I use my FC660Cs the most, but I rotate in other boards frequently. Changing boards is renewing and refreshing, and swapping them out every once in a while keeps things interesting.
That said, I agree that too many options can become overwhelming. If you are driving yourself nuts choosing a board, just put all but one in a closet and resolve to use it for at least a week.

I rotate to a new board when I feel like it. Picking through my collection is a joy for me and I really enjoy having multiple boards to pick from and switch to.
That being said, I've had my Filco at work for about a year and it's been the only board I use there because it's the only board with a number pad that I have. But that's about to change so I'll probably be rotating work and home boards a lot :D.

I have both a filco I love and a HHKB I love. I'm just using the one I like more more and the one I like less less and letting the issue sort itself out. So far the filco is winning.

I'm getting close to doing that myself to be quite honest. But I don't think I could sell my two main boards at the moment, just couldn't do it >:

Seriously? your Filco is winning over your HHKB? wow, I never thought I'd see the day haha! You must really love your filco! :P

They're like browns, but much smoother and feel a lot better to type on.
I'd advise you try them out, I'm currently using them over Reds and I absolutely love reds and never thought i'd switch.

I have more boards than I should. I use one at work. And three boards on my desk at home. Red switch for game. Green for typing when noise isn't an issue. Clear for when everyone is sleeping.

I swap constantly at home, but stick to one (QFR MX green) at work, mainly because I am too lazy to keep carrying keyboards back and forth on the train.
Although if I could find a nice, large, padded bag with shoulder strap I might finally be able to bring a Model M into work.

I just have a large desk with four boards sitting on it.

Most retailers that carry Razer keyboards already have the new Razer's in stock. I have tried out the orange at my local Frys.

This is peculiar, but I had a similar question in mind today and had thought about posting it. For me, as you, it comes to two keyboards that I quite like; but I prefer one for typing (I don't game), my 87UB/55-gram. It has superb feel for typing; I find it preferable to Topre's 45g key-switch. I also have a Corsair K65/MX Red that I enjoy using as a change in keyboard feel; I prefer its exposed architecture to Filcos and CMQFRs I've owned.
The 87UB is 'the' keyboard I'd choose if I had to select one from all the KBs I've owned. I do a lot of typing, and I've yet to find a keyboard, including my former full-size Model Ms and SSKs, that best the 87UB/55-gram. I prefer not to collect keyboards and have sold or given away the KBs I've chosen not to use; and I now have two mechanicals that I quite enjoy. The MX Red keyboard is a pleasant change-of-pace for me; but it, nor anything else I've owned, could replace my Realforce--it's the one for me.

I use my HHKB as a daily driver and all my other boards (current and future) just to experiment with. Really like the layout and topre, so using any of my MX boards just feels, eh odd. Especially since I'm too used to layout on my HHKB + missing PBT caps on my MX boards. Planning to try out ergo-clears at some point though, probably by turning my Ducky Mini browns into ergo-clears which really seems like a fun project.
But to answer the question, I guess I'm just too comfortable on my HHKB and just don't have the urge to switch.

Haven't decided yet what I like more.. my Filco MJT2 TKL with o-rings and PBT caps or my new HHKB Pro 2. Anyway, problem is solved for me thus far because I'll take either one of them to work. Unfortunately for me and my wallet, I'm already looking around for my next board :P

I am in the boat now where I love mechanical keyboards but I hate spending money on new boards all the time. I just purchased a Realforce hoping that it will be the "be all end all" of my mechanical keyboard needs.
