I had personally bought a demo unit of the new Edsyn 951sxe to get a general sense of its performance and use cases. It passed with basically flying colors -- I think it's a great iron, the size is a lot more convenient than the old 951, and it's cheaper, so a win-win-win basically.
anyway, i've gotten the confidence i needed in it to sell it, and I grabbed the video footage of it that I needed, so it's up for sale!
pictures are attached, but I just realized that I forgot to take pictures of the RS200 sponge(s) and the circular sponge holder that sits under it. I have a large number of these for some reason, so I'll pop in a brand new sponge and sponge dish for you. I'll also include one each of the small, medium (included with the iron from the factory) and large tips that I package with both the 951sx(e) and cl1481. The small and large tips will be lightly used, if not new.
For all this, I'm asking 150 shipped CONUS. Canadian shipping add 15$ (it's heavy). other countries will need to wait for the 951sxe-220v, i'm afraid.

How does the demo version differ than the actual one?
Also, I've been following your learn how to solder IC as I am interested - how does this iron compare to the edsyn cl1481 iron?

This iron better remain CL1481 is good. In additional 951SXe can control temperature & CL1481 can't that :)
