I actually went to see Video Games Live (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_Games_Live) about a year ago. It was pretty damn amazing considering I haven't been moved by video game music since Mega Man 3. Only drawback was having to stomach the pungent smell of Game Fuel and Doritos

I listen to The Advantage (http://www.myspace.com/theadvantage1) pretty regularly.  They are amazing musicians that do NES music.
