I hear some people saying 'if you don't type over 100 wpm you shouldn't have a mechanical keyboard'.
Is this a meme or something?

Anyone who says that is just being an *******.
Mechanical keyboards are all about the feeeeeeeeeeels.

Yup. Proud member of the sub-100 club.

Shots.

It means that you suck at typing and should improve typing first.
You know because some ******* always feels it's completely necessary to write something like buying better equipment won't make you better ... as if that wasn't incredibly obvious and off-topic.

That's just angry kids talking trash.

I don't know, it made me better. I can go over 100, but I don't think it's particularly worth mentioning as this isn't a typists' forum, it's an enthusiast's.

Remember, keyboards only about speed, not comfort or recreation! :thumb:

Haven't seen linkbane post in a while.
-
Wait, you people actually type?
I thought we just dressed our keyboards up and took pretty pictures...

Geez :/
I'm not talking about that.
I'm talking about when people do something like this ... instead of answering his question about reactions with actuation points yada yada.

You always see 1 or 2 of these sort of no **** sherlock responses in every thread.
That being said ... I also trolled around in that thread :/

Even if you can type OVER 100 wpm, you can still be pathetic. You have to type at least 120 wpm to be considered a real human being. And a real hero. And if you get to 160+ wpm, Linkbane will suck yo ****.
-
I average about 90~95 wpm. Suck it.

Seems like a character.

I think I might've posted in that thread, or at least seen it. They definitely do seem pretty unhelpful, I'm pretty sure that the poster realized that also. Anyways, what are your favorite switches?

I think just one person says that. You shouldn't listen to that person.
-
sub 50wpm club HOLLA

Anyone who says that is just trolling. However, I honestly do think you have to be able to at least touch-type to fully enjoy a mechanical keyboard. If you hunt and peck, I think you're missing out on the feels.

I can agree with that. If you're poking out at 20 wpm, you mathematically only experience 1/4 of the feels of someone typing at 80!
//satire :p
