Hi,
Unfortunately i didn't introduce myself before here, when i registered and posted a little bit. Sorry for that!
I'm from Vienna, Austria, Europe, and addicted to keyboards since Dec. 2013 - so not that long! In this time i purchased first a Filco TKL with blues, and a view weeks later a Ducky G2Pro TKL 'Black Mamba' with clears (a great offer from Teraset in Finland). At work i switched to the clears, because the clicky sound of the blues annoyed almost everyone. Also my wife said i should not use this keyboard at home! Then i have a G80 11800 with browns from our server room, which is not used anymore. This (http://deskthority.net/workshop-f7/cherry-g80-11800-bricolage-t7374.html) is my tinker project; i'm just playing around and made a simple easy wooden bottom case. Maybe i will use it for testing different switch mods.
My next project is modding my Filco, i've already desoldered all switches, and will change to an other controller (The Pegasus Hof). I will use clears for the alphas, and greens for the rest. But i'm not sure yet. I tried to lube switches, with different approaches. I do not have special lube like Krytox, but used some silicone grease. I also tried to make jailed greens and blue switches with different approaches.
That's how far i am at the moment! I will be father in about 6 weeks, so let's see how this whole thing is going on :)
And... of course i tried to be part of the CC 420 sale and the Brobot 420 sale, and also the Brobot sale short after the 420 one. Unfortunately without success. Let's see, maybe the next time!
Greetings to all,
Matthias

silicon grease may or may not screw up the switches
I'd stick to traditional keyboard lube

I tried different things i found at home, just for interest and to see/feel the difference. Then i brought these swtiches to my working place, and click them all the time; if the sound and feel changes.
