That Pentium MMX CPU was beast.
I had a Tandy 1000TL, dual 3.5 inch floppies with no hard drive, with a Hayes 1200 or 2400 baud modem that I used to access many BBSs I don't remember the names of (mostly looking for free games.) I do remember we had a subscription to PC-Link and Compuserve. Do you remember Leisure Suit Larry?

Oh yea, Leisure Suit Larry (and all the Sierra games) were so good.
Damn, I thought this was a thread for posting old school work and notes and stuff. I'll need to dig up some old stuff to add to the thread that is actually relevant.
Hah! I see what you mean, I added quotes to the OP. Thanks Hoff :)

Yeah, I've got a pile of obsolete crap as well...

This is actually my slightly-less-than-crap pile, as my DX4-100 system is in the storage unit.

Did yours come with this too? Mine did. I don't think they offered them very long for some reason...

Anyone remember this ? ;D
Used to give me nightmares as a child. Had a dream that the dog jumped through the bathroom window while I was taking a **** and beat me to death with a cast-iron pan. No joke.
Looking back on that now, I realize I was simply predicting Conker's Bad Fur Day...
First game I can remember playing to death was zaxxon on an IBM PCjr (famous for worst keyboard ever)
(Attachment Link)
When I had my own computer, one of the earliest was Duke Nukem
(Attachment Link)
But my favorite game of the DOS era was Tyrian
(Attachment Link)
Of course, I was using one of these, before I knew it was cool

Nothing super special but I have a lot in my collection. Huge sentimental value. Over £1500 worth of cards and the ones on top are just dupes.
Huh! I remember those. A buddy of mine came back from a gaming convention in San Francisco in 1993, had a couple of long boxes of card packs. One box full of packs he handed around as gifts, the other one he ended up selling unopened for major moolah. Fun times.
