Title: Keycaps on CMStorm?

Hey guys,

   I am currently looking for a small keyboard however after using many different keyboads, I really like the feeling of the Keycaps on the coolermaster storm but I don't know like what material they are or where to get them to place them on a different keyboard in the future. Does anyone with experience in coolermaster keyboards know where to get such keycaps?

The CoolerMaster caps are just pad printed legends on OEM profile ABS plastic caps. To the best of my knowledge CM Storm doesn't sell their keycaps separately but there's plenty of folks who can sell you the stock keycaps from various boards in the classifieds here. What other caps have you tried?

ABS, and AFAIK CM do not sell keycaps separately.

However a lot of people swap the keycaps out once they get a QFR/QFS, so you  might be lucky if someone has a set that they don't want.

Does not have to be the exact/original ones ,just the feeling/material. I have owned the Coolermaster TK, Coolermaster QuickFire Rapid, Coolermaster Stealth, and they are all different feeling keycaps from this one. Not the same at all and have not come across other keyboards with similar keycaps. I rather just leave this keyboard as it is and not reuse keycaps from others just like anyone that has used the CoolerMaster Storm Trigger and knows where to look for similar keycaps. They feel more smooth and mushy than other keycaps I have used and really like them XD.

Trigger has backlighting - Ducky keycaps would be similar.

These (http://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=228) are gray, I know, but that's the sort of thing you would look for.

However if you feel that QFR and QFS keycaps are different, I can't really say whether you would like Ducky keycaps either.

QFR and QFS are the same feeling to me. However they are different feeling than the Storm Trigger caps which are the ones I desire. Really weird how CM did make the storm trigger key caps different but they feel awesome when coding for hours. I tried some ducky in a store and they are not the same as these ones(maybe different model?). They do not have to be backlit just the same feeling/material lol. Thanks for your help!

I have found Cherry profile PBT are good for coding :)
