I have no idea what kind of switches these are...maybe someone can enlighten me. :)

It's a capacitive 'board from the looks of it...

Looks like the old BTC capacitive switches.  I've used one of the BTC 53-series capacitive keyboards.  It was possibly the spongiest, least tactile keyboard I have ever encountered.  Based upon those experiences I cannot recommend this to anyone.

I read a post here that said the BTC keyswitches bottom out on a piece of open cell foam. I don't think foam, of all materials, belongs in a keyboard except as packing material.

You've got a point there - the stuff has the habit of degrading all by itself over the years (and more quickly when stressed mechanically).

Too bad this board isn't $20 with free shipping. Otherwise I would have bought it just to see the foam, lol.

I did buy one last year... and for about that price.  It's one of the very few working keyboards that I've since donated to the local charity/thrift store.

Ah, a foam and foil board... It's funny to think that back in the golden age of keyboards, that there was something far worse than our modern rubber dome Dells...

I'd imagine that they would be linear? And interesting layout, it's quite DEC-like.
