It actually looks really nice. It has that frosty matte look. But I've got an alu and acrylic case already. Might wanna wait and see if TEX restocks their tray style case

I just saw this in an email from Massdrop. Glad to see it posted here already. For the price, it looks nice. I've been looking for a low profile case for my Poker II. Thinking I'll commit, since the lowest price is pretty reasonable.

I think it'll look cool and probably be a pretty solid case since it is still a TEX case.

Cool. Not quite as cool as white POM would be... but I like it.

Not sure how I feel about the case, but kind of tempted to get it and make a thin wood base to attach under the acrylic, a wood plate, then do some Gon style under the PCB LEDs with my Sprit PCB.

Lowest price has been reached. So now the case is $59.99 +$5 for shipping within the USA.

47 th case sold.

$7.5 shipping to Australia.

More keen on aluminium but curious about the transparent look and the reduced scratching potential against my aluminium computer case when transported together. A slim case for my mini itx computer :)

Don't mean to semi-necro here but I picked up this case as well. I didn't even have a Poker 2 but was planning on getting one. Luckily MassDrop is running another GB for a Poker 2 in several options. If you get back lit, it actually comes in white and with PBTs which is rare for their back lit versions if I understand correctly. Everywhere else I saw the Poker 2 back lit, it did not come with PBTs.

I got Cherry MX Blue with Blue back lighting. That back lighting is going to look beast with the low profile acrylic case. I plan on picking up the purple rainbow PBTs and an orange coiled cable. Going a little funky with this one!

Massdrop has said this was sort of a test run to see if there was much interest. So far this is just a 'one off'' run.

Very Difficult to photograph this item :)  A degree of transparency, and a matte surface. The lack of any shine and clean machining means it disappears into a blur of blankness.

But I am growing to like the look of this case.It has a nice feel about it compared to the stock pure case, and it's noticeably quieter. It feels more solid, despite being the same weight as the original case. Feet included provide a little less angle than the stock case, but the keys at the bottom row sit a couple mm higher.

Ooops? Broke a screw while pre-threading the screw threads.

Fortunately, with the help of a dremel, and a very very small 0.5mm bur, managed to remove enough of the screw to allow me to unscrew it.

Really nice. I'm digging the glowing effect from the LEDs. :)

Do you think that the glowing effect is only that intense because there is no plate on that board?

Ooops? Broke a screw while pre-threading the screw threads.

Are the mounts not threaded?

Oof TEX should definitely consider improving the design by having inset screw nuts to receive the screws.

I have one and it looks fun (waiting on my PCBs x.x), and now I'm not sure if I want a second...I might...
