Post by: GhostofHarry on Sat, 17 May 2014, 06:47:59
Gonna get myself a tipro mid 96 :)

and i m considering to get a round 5 function kit (http://deskthority.net/wiki/R5_leftovers#HONEY.2FFUNCTION.2FR1_.28Function_row_1_kit_.7C_.2429.29) and POS set (http://deskthority.net/wiki/R5_leftovers#HONEY.2FPOS_.28POS_.282_units.29_.7C_.2419.29) for it

the row 1 functions set have the highest value...with more keys in a cheaper price comparing with the row 3 set below...

what i got in hand as reference are some row 3 SA caps
but i dont know how the row 1 SA caps will looks when they are placed in the matrix board :'(

anyone have experience on this?

thx ray, i know about this

just wanna know if it looks really bad when all the keys are SA row 1 :'(
cuz i think they are only designed to be on the highest row....

from the keycaps i got i think its ok for a few row 3 caps to be stuck in a matrix
but i fear that it looks bad on row 1 caps

All row 3 would be better - a more uniform surface, kinda like DSA.

If the upper surface of SA are as angled as that image, it would be somewhat uncomfortable to type on.
