Are there tenkeyless keyboards that send media keycodes (play, stop, volume up/down) instead of Fn keycodes for the topmost row of keys?
Given the way I use my computer I find myself using the media keys much more than I use the F1, F2 keys. What I am after is a tenkeyless Mac-like keyboard where pressing the first row of keys produces media actions while pressing the same buttons + fn produced F1, F2, F3. This is the opposite of what I have seen in all the keyboards I have owned.

You can just use Keyremap4macbook to create your own shortcuts of whatever you want, for instance you could easily replace F keys with media keys. Then you can buy any TKL. Definitely the best way to go.

If you're a Mac user, all of our Mac mechanical keyboards work as you described.

If you're looking for something like that for Windows/Linux, you'll have to roll your own.
