Title: [IC] Phantom Winkeyless+1.75x R shift Plate
Post by: Pacifist on Tue, 20 May 2014, 22:22:37
IC for a phantom winkeyless plate (1.5x1x1.5x7x1.5x1x1.5x) with a split R shift (1.75x1x) and the extra 5 keys above the arrow cluster

All switch holes will have notches to remove switch tops

This is my first time wanting to make a plate, so I don't know which shops are the best. Any recommendations will be appreciated

Plate will look like:

but with standard spacing on the top row

The best shop is the one that is local to you. You will probably have to work with them on QC'ing samples, etc., so it's much easier if you're local. If you can build rapport with the guys at the shop who take your orders and actually make the plates, they can probably understand better what you want, and may be more likely to give you a break on pricing as a hobbyist. Most of these shops are dealing primarily with large commercial or industrial orders, and price their work accordingly.

Hey pacifist, I am interested! But i have a couple of questions... Is this pretty much lightsaver layout? Does the phantom PCB have holes to accommodate this config?

I am interested in 2 of those plates for my 2 remaining Phantom PCBs :)

Will these be stainless steel or aluminium?

Lightsaver has the extra full numpad, and it will have a gap between F# and # layer. Phantom PCB does have the holes for this

I haven't decided yet. Once I go research some shops I'll decide then

Pacifist, hi.

Please, there is any chance to get one plate with that 7bit space bar?
