It's a clone. For the price, it's probably pretty good.

Now that I've watched the video, that might be one of the best alps controllers I've seen.

They're Tai Hao APC switches (http://deskthority.net/wiki/Tai-Hao_APC_series#Availability), an Alps clone switch. Might be nice though, I've never tried them.

Some better pictures can be found on this Tech Report review (http://techreport.com/review/26428/rosewill-striker-rk-6000-mechanical-keyboard-reviewed).

I more meant the whole programmable for every switch, with layers (and wasn't specific about how to get to them) and multiple profiles, all stored onboard.

Wow, is this the same as the old ABS that was sold by Newegg a few years ago?  I've been looking for ALPS switches for some time now that Ducky doesn't make them.  I had contacted Matias but not only are they too expensive they only offer clicky for Mac and non-clicky for PC which is disappointing.

According to that review site, this keyboard has a similar anti-ghosting feature problem that the "scandalous" ALPS version had, too.

The ALPS clone switches are colored blue and I don't think they're blue in my clicky ABS, either.

The review also mentions clicking problems--anyone experience that?

I'm actually writing up a teardown post of this keyboard right now. The switches feel nice when you just clack a few but when properly typing they lose all tactility and click. The teal sliders are quite attractive but the switches won't be satisfactory by themselves and the layout is wack.

There is some stuff you can do with the switches but I'll save that for another post. :P

Post a link here when it's done so I don't miss it. I was considering getting this just to see how it is.

I have the board and it's actually really nice to type on in my opinion.

I want to transplant the switches into a different board though, because I can't handle the 1x backspace.

Do all yours click consistently when typing 90+ words per minute? Mine don't. :(

No, the ABS M1 was black alps, and a conventional ANSI layout.
