What causes this?
I tried a different LED on a dim on and it was dim aswell. Make me think it has to do with the resistor.. Some are not as well soldered but even the ugliest of them has the proper brightness. How do i fix this? :(

Is that a GON keyboard?
Perhaps your pc is not supplying enough power to it? try changing usb ports or something.
How long has it been for? did you knock it recently or something? Was it ever like that?

To test if more power is needed, buy something like this http://www.amazon.com/Apricorn-Power-Adapter-Cable-AUSB-Y/dp/B000JIOHDE
or do it yourself.
I've seen that Apple OS X reports the mAmps somewhere. Some Windows utility can also do that.
AFAIK keyboards use PWM for LED light intensity. Not resistors.

Yes its a GON. I just soldered all the resistors and LEDs. It happens on my macbook pro and desktop. Can cheap crappy resistors cause this? Oh well, if there anything i can try ill do it.
Im using a cable from a QFR with the adapter provided. I will try over ps2 when i get home later.
These are the resistors i used.
