Title: Help with circuit?
Post by: adventurepoop on Thu, 22 May 2014, 14:08:35
After finding out I wired up my 5 key keyboard wrong last time, and finding out I only had 3 usable io, I came up with this as a circuit.

With switches 1-5 and io abc, Would this work? I don't know much about circuits but it looks like it to me :o

Mind rotating the image, it would help everyone see it better. Imgur has that feature built into its edit menu.

Nope. This circuit will not do what you want. For example: switches 1 and 5 are indistinguishable. As long as you are ok with ghosting above 1 key pressed you can use more diodes... if you have analog inputs, you have some good options...
