Title: Republic Commando Key Cap I Made
Post by: BuffBen on Fri, 23 May 2014, 04:46:56
 :-\

Link = https://www.shapeways.com/model/1996914/republic-commando.html?li=my-models&materialId=6

Im not charging anything for the model or marking up any of the prices. If you do decide to buy it post a picture of it so i can see how well it comes out. Thanks.

I didnt put in the full helmet because i thought it would make the key too big.

But if you guys want a version of it where the entire top of the key is just the republic commando i can do that.

From the key angle I think you used a profile from the Z, X, C, V........ etc row.  Might be better if you use the profile from Esc, F1, F2..... etc row.

If you don't know what I mean by profile, refer to this:  http://keycapsdirect.com/images/key-caps/angle3.jpg

But yeah it's just because people typically display their novelty keycaps on the top row.  Hope this helps.  :)

Unfortunately that key cap is the only base model i have (atm) Its designed to the correct proportions so i can just open it up in 3ds or Maya and start putting my models on the tip of the key cap.
