Title: Music Composers
Post by: Sifo on Fri, 23 May 2014, 14:44:46
Anyone else here compose their own music of any sort? I'm sure there's probably a ton of talented musicians here, would love to hear other people's pieces for inspiration if you wouldn't mind sharing. I don't have anything I'm satisfied with enough to share so :P

I normally do digital music now but I also play guitar and am learning piano on a midi keyboard.

DROP DEM BEATZ

(Also this might be off topic instead of geeky? Idk the two forums are kinda interchangeable)

Not really my day job, but I've done some songwriting on contract for Epitaph :)

Wish I had the time to do more of it.

I write quite a bit. Most of it for piano, but some for violin. It's very much classical, and you would probably put it somewhere between Rachmanininoff and Mendelssohn. Right now I'm writing a piano concerto for me to play for some competitions next year. I'm guessing that's not quite the sort of music you're looking for, though.

I started writing a piece for brass quintet (I play the tuba) but I lost the file. It wasn't that great anyway.
