These are a bit cheaper and pretty much the same thing.

I remember when both these sellers used to take best offer for $30+ship. Might be useful to send them a message to see if they'll let them go any cheaper.

I got one for that price as well from that seller. NIB.

Hrmm I might have to find a proxy for the caps and see if the seller will go any cheaper. Pretty good price for shine-free alphas, I was paying $35 shipped from China for used sets with some a little bit of shine.

Its always nice when they still have texture. Even if it doesn't last too long.

To be honest even at $60 if you have modifier kits these are still decent deals.

Is a few years not 'too long'?

Will it really last that long? I am using my first new set as mt DD right now. The way everyone talks about shine around here I figured it wouldn't take long. Thats great to hear!

Yeah I'd say it would take at least a year of heavy use to even develop mild shine unless you've got toxic hand oils. My sets see pretty heavy use and I haven't noticed any wear on keys other than the space.

it really depends on your fingers. for some people, it will wear through pretty quick. for others it'll last years without getting shiny.

If you are a gamer it is pretty easy to shine up the wasd cluster in under 6 months.
