Interesting to look at. Makes me want to build something, just not buy something.

Whenever these wooden keyboard threads come up, I start thinking about a steampunk Model F in copper and hammered black.

So true, never deal with sellers with a low feedback score because it will always come home to bite you when dealing with them ::) .

As someone who has been bitten more than once, I can say that the temptation isn't worth it.
Anything under 99% positive feedback or 25 positives, you really need to resist temptation to buy. Too often I have been suckered because a fairly new seller or a seller with 98% positive feedback offered something interesting or nice.
The risk is NOT worth it.

Good thing I did not know this when I started.
My first dozen buyers got some really great deals and I had a lot to sell, so that was all behind me very quickly. My first hundred sales came in less than a month, but I was in a selling frenzy.
But, to address this issue, the best way to start out, today, would be to make a lot of small purchases. There are a lot of sellers, especially Chinese sellers, in my experience, who post positive feedback immediately after you pay them.
